Silliker Glass is the exclusive distributor of Horton Automatics and Nabco/GyroTech products for PEI.  We have two AAADM certified staff members.  AAADM is the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers.  AAADM is a trade association defined and governed by ANSI/BHMA A156.10.  This standard has also been adopted by the National Building Code of Canada.  You should insist on installation and inspection by AAADM certified technicians, who can be identified through their certification cards.  They have been trained by their company and sent to AAADM  certification classes for testing on the safety standards that must be met by all automatic door systems.  AAADM recommends that automatic doors be inspected yearly.  Do not take chances.  Talk to an AAADM certified company, they have many years of experience, plus the dedication to train and certify their technicians.
